A group of people was randomly detained in different areas and taken to a corner, accused of "assault and resistance to authority." The Prosecutor's Office reported five additional arrests near the Congress made by the Federal Police, under the same charges, although later a sixth detainee was reported. No detention officially took place at the corner of Avenida de Mayo and Santiago del Estero, where a police vehicle from the city police was left with the door open and then set on fire.

"Since the deaths of Fernando Gómez in Salta and Ivo Torres in Jujuy to the attack on Pablo Grillo, the record of the Minister of Security continues to grow," mentioned Myriam Bregman. The irregular procedure led to 114 detentions by the Federal Police and the City Police, in an operation organized by the National Ministry of Security. Police brutality, including beatings of protesters like 87-year-old Beatriz Blanco, sparked criticism and allegations of institutional violence.

Following the release of the 114 unjustly detained individuals, Judge Karina Andrade ordered their immediate release due to the lack of evidence and precise data regarding the arrests. The judge questioned the police and prosecutor's actions for not providing detailed information about the arrests, which led to the release of all detainees. Furthermore, the lack of transparency and justification in the mass detentions during the protests near the Congress was highlighted.

The defense attorneys, Carolina Bressi and Raquel Hanono, requested detailed information about the detentions, emphasizing the lack of evidence and the arbitrary nature of them. Judge Andrade criticized the police and prosecutor’s actions for not providing sufficient information to support the arrests. In light of the controversy generated, the lack of transparency and seriousness in the actions carried out during the protests became evident, which called into question the justification of the arrests made.

The release of the individuals detained without evidence demonstrated the lack of grounds for the arrests and highlighted the improvisation and the lack of transparency in the actions taken by security forces. Criticism of the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, intensified, demanding her investigation and prosecution for political responsibilities in the repressive actions. The defense and human rights organizations denounced the abuses and violations of rights during the detentions, calling for justice and transparency in government actions.
